Jake Clapton

Jake Clapton joined KPR in 2024.
Jake brings 20 years of experience in sourcing, underwriting, structuring, and managing commercial real estate debt and equity investments across a variety of asset classes, geographies, and capital structures. Jake began his career in 2005 as a CRE Analyst for RBS Citizens Bank and NewStar Financial before transitioning into RBS’ Global Restructuring Group where he spent four years as a CRE work-out specialist.
From 2012 to 2021, he spent three years with a Boston based firm that partnered with Arcon to purchase and manage national portfolios of mixed performance CRE debt, three years as a capital advisor and investment partner with CRE Asset Advisors, LLC, and three years as a senior loan originator for the Washinton Trust Company. In 2021, Jake co-founded C103 Partners, LLC focused on various acquisitions and advisory opportunities, and through which he was first introduced to the KPR team.
Jake is a 2005 graduate of Williams College, where he also played hockey. Jake currently lives in Canton, MA, his hometown, with his wife, their six-year old son and two-year old daughter.
