New York, New York ─ Katz Properties, an East coast retail investor and operating firm, continues to add to its portfolio with the recent acquisition of Freshwater-Stateline Plaza, located in Enfield Connecticut. This acquisition was made in partnership with New York City based GHC Development.
Freshwater-Stateline Plaza, a 300,588 square foot Costco-anchored shopping center, built in 1972, is situated in at 130 Elm Street in Enfield, Connecticut within the Hartford/Springfield MSA. The shopping center is 96.6% occupied and is anchored by a 50,000 square foot Dick’s Sporting Goods, 32,000 square foot PC Richards & Son, and shadow-anchored by a 136,000 square foot Costco.
“Enfield has a strong retail corridor that we’ve historically had success within and understand well. Freshwater-Stateline is an asset we feel will continue to perform.” Said Daniel Katz, a managing principal of Katz Properties.
